Our daughter has a special recipe for Christmas cookies handed down through the generations, so when she visits, she makes a batch and we all sit around and decorate them. The year I painted this, we found some Texas-shaped cookie cutters, so these cookies were cowboy hats, boots, and Texas stars. Yee haw!
